Dave Crandall : Timber Buyer

Serving Jackson, Washtenaw, Lenawee, Hillsdale, Monroe and Wayne counties

Dave Crandall

Dave Crandall has been in Timber Procurement since 2009. He began his procurement career in Southern Michigan exclusively purchasing walnut trees, and joined the Tri-County Logging Timber Procurement Team in 2013. His prior background in skilled trades and sales has allowed him to gain perspective on working one on one with customers. Determining a landowner’s primary goal for their property is the starting point for Dave. Whether that goal is directed toward wildlife habitat, timber management as a financial asset or maintaining the family forest, he will assist you in planning for the future health and sustainability of your woodlot. Proper, consistent harvesting is a protective measure for your forest as well as a valuable financial tool for the landowner. Trees have a limited life cycle. If left unmanaged they will be subject to overgrowth, storm damage and collateral damage that healthy harvest will decrease.

From the Jackson, Michigan area, Dave is familiar with the landscape of Southern Michigan. He and his family enjoy outdoor activity. Being an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman provides Dave an enthusiastic appreciation for Michigan’s great outdoors. If you are considering a woodlot harvest or have a concern about the condition of your forest, please contact Dave at 517-937-6674 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
