Serving Midland, Saginaw, Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer, Sanilac, Tuscola, Huron, St. Clair

Keagan found his love for the outdoors at an early age. He was born and raised in Owosso, Michigan and still resides there. He spent endless hours hunting, trapping, and cutting firewood with his father. And he still spends a majority of his free time trapping and waterfowl hunting.

Keagan graduated from Michigan State University in 2018 with a B.S. in Forestry. He believes in using sustainable forestry methods to promote and enhance forest health. He believes it’s very important to build good long term relationships with landowners. This helps meet landowner’s goals, and keep forests healthy. Being from Shiawassee County and trapping throughout the surrounding areas, Keagan has a strong knowledge of that Michigan region.

If you are considering a woodlot harvest or have a question about the condition of your forest, please contact Keagan at 989-666-6415.

Dear Valued Customer,

This morning, Governor Gretchen Whitmer Issued an executive order of a statewide lockdown to take effect across the state of Michigan effective tomorrow March 24 evening at 12:01 AM. This marks a sharp but necessary escalation in Michigan's response and effort to contain the coronavirus. It is an unprecedented order, one that we take seriously and understand its purpose.

After reviewing the details of the order, it has become clear to us that the state intends for critical supply chains to remain open. The listed supply chains includes: "workers who support the manufacture and distribution of forest products, including, but not limited to timber, paper, and wood products". With this information we have mad the decision to keep Hardwoods of Michigan (HMI) operating and open for business.

These are incredibly trying times. HMI committed to doing everything in our power to keep our employees and customers safe. We look forward to continuing to serve you despite the difficult circumstances. Thank you.
