Wildlife habitat enhancement

Experienced in sustainable forestry practices, we always have your woodlots best interest in mind. We can help you draw deer to your property, while also improving the overall health of your land – now and for future growth. When Tri County Logging sustainably harvests timber, we leave behind the tops of your trees. This attracts deer by providing shelter and a viable food source. It is their natural instinct to seek shelter. Thick, lush tree tops are the perfect place to make a bed, especially for those with young.

Dear Valued Customer,

This morning, Governor Gretchen Whitmer Issued an executive order of a statewide lockdown to take effect across the state of Michigan effective tomorrow March 24 evening at 12:01 AM. This marks a sharp but necessary escalation in Michigan's response and effort to contain the coronavirus. It is an unprecedented order, one that we take seriously and understand its purpose.

After reviewing the details of the order, it has become clear to us that the state intends for critical supply chains to remain open. The listed supply chains includes: "workers who support the manufacture and distribution of forest products, including, but not limited to timber, paper, and wood products". With this information we have mad the decision to keep Hardwoods of Michigan (HMI) operating and open for business.

These are incredibly trying times. HMI committed to doing everything in our power to keep our employees and customers safe. We look forward to continuing to serve you despite the difficult circumstances. Thank you.

Bog Vogel
